Use Anonymous Proxy with IDM

In order to use ChrisPC Free Anonymous Proxy with Internet Download Manager (IDM), you need to set the application running mode to Anonymous Proxy Mode, select your desired Proxy country and click on "Connect to proxy" button.

After the connection is established you need to setup your IDM to use the anonymous proxy. Launch IDM and open the "Options" window, select the "Proxy/Socks" tab and check the "Use Socks" box. You need to enter in "Socks server address" box: 127.0.0.1 and in "Port" box: 9050

Please note that starting with version 5.00, the proxy port address is 9060.

Now all downloads will be made through the proxy. Please note that if the proxy is not running, you won't be able to download anything, so you'll need to uncheck the "Use Socks" box in IDM.
